Village Coaching Bid Invitation

In the heart of Germany, the city of Arnsberg has announced a new initiative aimed at shaping the future of three rural villages: Müschede, Niedereimer, and Wennigloh. This initiative, known as the "village coaching," is a key component of the DŌRFERKONZEPT ARNSBERG 2025 and is part of the IKEK initiative, which began in 2017.

The village coaching process, estimated to last between four to six months, focuses on a participatory, transparent, and sustainable development strategy. The main tasks of the village coaching include developing a binding action plan, moderating a village workshop, accompanying the identification of necessary spaces and carrier structures, promoting citizen participation, and supporting the linking with existing activities.

The city's project manager for the village coaching is Klaus Fröhlich, who can be reached at k.froehlich@our website, Tel. 02932 201-1689. The city's website also provides a platform for active participation in the development process of the village coaching. Local activists can find important information about the process and results on the city's website at www.our website/villages.

The goal of the village coaching is to strengthen the villages in the face of societal changes such as individualization, demographic change, and infrastructure problems. By better coordinating activities, securing spaces and structures for the future, and promoting community in the village communities with the guiding principle "Strengthening village communities - Living Together," the city hopes to create a sustainable and future-proof development of the rural areas of Arnsberg.

To achieve this, the city of Arnsberg is currently seeking an external office carrier for the implementation of the application from the village concept. The tender provides for the village coaching processes to be carried out simultaneously and comparatively in the three villages. The aim is to strengthen the structures of engagement on site and coordinate and accompany the diverse activities.

The village coaching initiative aims to activate and support local actors in developing sustainable working structures, spatial concepts, and binding implementation agreements. The aim of these measures is the sustainable and future-proof development of the rural areas of Arnsberg, focusing on the villages of Müschede, Niedereimer, and Wennigloh. The villages are emphasized for their contribution to social cohesion and the strengthening of village communities.

As the village coaching process unfolds, residents of these villages are encouraged to engage actively and contribute to shaping their future. The city of Arnsberg looks forward to working together with the local community to create a brighter future for these rural areas.
