Violence Erupts at Senior Summer Gathering: Two Individuals Engage in Altercation; Security Personnel Intervene; Onboard Computers Stolen from Agricultural Machinery

In the past 24 hours, several incidents have been reported across Southeast Hesse, with the Police Headquarters urging witnesses to come forward with any relevant information.

In Maintal, an unknown individual caused approximately 2,500 euros worth of damage to a black Audi Q5 while parking on Berger Straße, near the 10s house numbers. The incident occurred between Tuesday, 7 PM, and Wednesday, 9 AM, but the perpetrator remains unidentified. Witnesses are asked to contact the Maintal Police Station at 06181 4302-0.

Simultaneously, in Hanau/Grossauheim, a suspect broke into a basement storage unit. Described as a man aged 30 to 40 wearing a light-colored t-shirt, short beard, cap, and carrying a light-colored backpack, the individual did not steal anything but caused around 300 euros worth of damage. Witnesses are asked to contact the Hanau Criminal Police at 06181 100-123.

Thieves struck again on the outskirts of Ostheim, stealing several computers or GPS systems from a total of five agricultural vehicles between Tuesday, 7 PM, and Wednesday, 9 AM. The stolen devices are worth tens of thousands of euros.

Meanwhile, two men got into an altercation at Maintal Ost train station. The older man, aged 28, allegedly sprayed the younger man, aged 25, with an irritant, causing injuries. In retaliation, the younger man injured the older man's hand. Both men now face charges of suspected bodily harm.

Elsewhere, a local security advisor will be present at the senior summer festival in Nidderau.
