Weeklong Internship in Hamburg Encourages Attendees to Engage in Olfactory Experiences

The Hamburg Practical Week, a highly anticipated event organised by the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, is now underway. This year's edition, taking place from 14 July to 3 September 2025, promises to be an enlightening experience for young people aged 15 and above.

A variety of esteemed companies, including Hamburger Sparkasse, Budni, Motel One, Allianz, and many more, have joined forces to offer a glimpse into the professional world. The event is also supported by partners such as the Hamburg Youth Employment Agency, the School and Vocational Training Authority, the Hamburg Chamber of Crafts, and the University of Hamburg, driving forward the Startchancen program.

The Hamburg Practical Week offers a practical experience week, providing young people with the chance to visit up to five different companies. Each visit includes a short internship at the company, offering a hands-on understanding of the work environment. Participation in this event is absolutely free, making it an accessible opportunity for all.

The visits can be done in one go or spread over the summer holidays, allowing flexibility for those participating. It's worth noting that Hamburg ranks in the top 3 in the education monitor 2024, further emphasising the city's commitment to nurturing young talent.
