Weekly children's summer play at St. Spiritus commences on 1st August, every Friday
The summer season is not just for adults, as Theater St. Spiritus in the heart of the city is hosting a series of enchanting children's theater performances. Here's a rundown of the shows that are suitable for children aged 3 and up, with some shows also suitable for ages 4 and up.
On August 15, Theater Phoebus presents "Alice in Wonderland", a delightful adaptation of the classic tale that promises to captivate young audiences. The performance takes place at 10 AM, with tickets priced at 7 € for adults and 5 € for reduced tickets. Accompanying persons of groups of 10 or more are admitted free of charge.
On the same day, August 29, Cloak with the Wicht Theater brings "The Wolf and the 7 Kids" to life as a puppet show. This heartwarming story is also suitable for children aged 3 and up. Tickets are priced the same as "Alice in Wonderland".
On August 22, a new play titled "Island Ahoy" graces the stage. Although the name of the theater group performing this show is not publicly available, the play promises to be a fresh addition to the children's theater. The performance takes place at 10 AM, and tickets are priced at 7 € / reduced 5 €. Group leaders are free for groups of 10 or more.
On August 25, TANDERA Theater presents "Ratzensparrow", another exciting children's theater performance suitable for children aged 4 and up. Tickets are priced the same as the previous shows.
On September 5, Schnuppe Figurentheater brings "At the Fire Station, the Coffee Gets Cold" to the stage. This play, also suitable for children aged 4 and up, tells a heartwarming story about friendship and teamwork. Tickets are also priced at 7 € / reduced 5 €, with group leaders admitted free for groups of 10 or more.
Last but not least, "The Magic Bean" is a clownish circus theater by Flora Fabula that invites the whole family on a search for lost moments of happiness where everyday objects come to life. Tickets for "The Magic Bean" can be reserved by calling 03834 85364444.
The performances take place in a beautiful courtyard, but can move to a hall if the weather is bad. Reservations can be made by calling the same number, and tickets can also be purchased on the day of the event at St. Spiritus. The program for the children's theater can be viewed online.
