Wehringhausen witnesses a road mishap, leaving two individuals slightly hurt
In the quiet town of Wehringhausen, Hagen, a traffic accident occurred on August 27, 2025, around 10:00 PM. The incident involved two vehicles: a BMW and an Audi.
According to the police, a 34-year-old driver in a BMW, turning onto Buscheystraße from Eugen-Richter-Straße, was involved in the accident. The driver, along with her 38-year-old passenger, sustained only minor injuries.
Meanwhile, the 51-year-old driver in the Audi was proceeding uphill on Christian-Rohlfs-Straße towards Buscheystraße. It is suspected that the late hour may have caused the 51-year-old driver to fail to notice a yellow blinking light, resulting in the collision.
Both vehicles involved in the accident had to be towed away, and the intersection had to be temporarily closed for accident investigation. The Traffic Commission has taken over the investigation.
