Westfield rejoices as it surpasses 4 million customers

The Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier, a sprawling development in the heart of the city's HafenCity, continues to attract visitors and tenants alike. With an impressive occupancy rate of 95%, the complex is a testament to its success.

The large project, realised by the French investor Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, boasts a significant investment of around 2.5 billion euros in the construction of its 14 buildings. The complex includes three Accor hotels and 579 apartments, catering to various needs of residents and tourists.

Currently, the Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier houses 132 stores, 40 restaurants and cafes, and a Kinopolis cinema, providing a diverse shopping and dining experience. In the coming year, the restaurant "Elemente" and the "Air Bar 13" are set to join the vibrant culinary scene.

Two new offerings, Marc Cain and KJ Adventure World, are also set to join the Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier in August, further enhancing the retail mix.

The Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier is not just a shopping centre; it combines various uses such as hotels, a shopping centre, cruise terminals, leisure and fitness facilities, apartments, and office spaces. In a move to accommodate larger cruise ships, two mooring places for cruise ships are to be created on the southern side of the complex, expected to go into operation soon.

Since its opening in April 2025, the Westfield Centre has attracted around 4 million visitors. With expectations of 16.2 million visitors annually, the Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier is poised to remain a significant attraction in Hamburg.
