WFV Tournament or The WFV Cup Event

In the upcoming second round of the Women's WFV Cup, several intriguing matches are set to take place, featuring both promoted teams and district champions.

On Sunday, the favourites SV Alberweiler will take on FV Bellenberg at 12:45 PM. Alberweiler, who are currently considered the favourites, secured their place in the competition with a convincing 5:0 win against Verbandsligist Jungingen in the first round. Bellenberg, on the other hand, advanced with a 5:3 victory over SV Granheim.

Meanwhile, at 11:00 AM on the same day, a closely matched encounter is expected between SV Renhardsweiler and SSG Ulm 99. Renhardsweiler, a newcomer to Landesliga, advanced to the second round after winning the district cup as SGM Renhardsweiler/Fulgenstadt in the 2024/25 season. Ulm 99, who were promoted to Landesliga I, qualified for the second round with a 3:2 win in extra time against TSV Albeck.

Another exciting match will see FC Bellamont, the sixth-placed finisher in Landesliga II last season, take on SV Deuchelried. Bellamont, who are favourites in this match, won their previous encounter against SGM Warthausen/Alberweiler II 4:1. Deuchelried advanced to the second round with a thrilling 5:4 penalty shootout win against SGM Kressbronn/Langenargen.

In another development, SV Renhardsweiler received a bye in the first round of the second round. This is the third team from the Oberschwaben district to reach the second round.

The women's WFV Cup second round will also feature a match between SV Alberweiler and FV Bellenberg, and in another match, FC Bellamont will face SV Deuchelried, both scheduled for Sunday. The match between SV Renhardsweiler and SSG Ulm 99 will also take place on Sunday.
