The impressive, large horse with a promising career path is a contender for victory in the competitive £100,000 handicap event.

"Which magnificent, large horse will triumph in the competitive £100,000 handicap race?"

In the upcoming race at Ascot, the spotlight will be on Tenability, who has won twice over this course and distance, as he aims for a hat-trick. Trained by William Haggas, Tenability secured a narrow victory against Super Bells last week, and his team hopes he will perform better on softer ground this time around.

Super Bells, a mare trained by Andrew Balding, lost to Tenability last week and is expected to show improved form on the soft ground.

Tenability's victory last week was impressive, looking value for more than the winning margin of a neck. However, he has been given a 4lb rise, which could potentially impact his performance. The soft ground is unknown for Tenability, but his pedigree - being by Frankel out of a Pivotal mare - suggests he may handle it well.

Meanwhile, Push The Limit, who made a successful handicap debut at Glorious Goodwood, will be stepping up to a mile and a half in the race. Despite a 7lb rise to a mark of 98, Push The Limit's unexposed status at middle-distances means this increase isn't beyond him. Ralph Beckett, Push The Limit's trainer, believes the horse will improve as a four-year-old.

Rogue Millions, a big horse with a promising future, according to James Owen, is also set to compete. Despite a slowly run race at Hamilton, James Owen remains confident about Rogue Millions' performance in the race. In his penultimate start, Rogue Millions romped home by four lengths in soft ground, indicating he may thrive on the conditions.

Other contenders include Nightwalker, who has been highly tried and could find this handicap debut more suitable, and Daiquiri Bay. Daiquiri Bay finished third over further in the Melrose last time and seems to have come out of his last run at York well, according to trainer Alan King. King believes dropping Daiquiri Bay back in trip would be beneficial for his performance.

Topteam, who will be clashing against Tenability again, will be running on soft ground for the first time. Alastair Donald believes Topteam can handle the softer ground in the race.

Liam Headd will be reporting on the race, bringing the action straight from Ascot. With William Haggas having won three of the last four runnings of the race, Tenability will have a tough challenge ahead, but with the unpredictability of horse racing, anything can happen.
