In an unusual turn of events, a collision between a vehicle and a loose dog occurred on the L1002 road in Fretterode on Tuesday evening.

According to reports from the Northhausen State Police Inspectorate, a driver was traveling from Fretterode towards Gerbershausen around 6:40 PM when a dog ran onto the road, causing a collision with the vehicle. Fortunately, the driver was unharmed in the accident.

Upon responding to the incident, the officers found the injured dog on an adjacent field. The dog was later taken to a veterinarian for treatment.

The owner of the dog contacted the police station after the incident. There is no publicly available information about a specific dog running on the L1002 from Fretterode to Gerbershausen on Thursday evening at 18:40 that was hit by a driver.
