Witnesses called after physical examination concludes, per LPI-EF statement
On the evening of Saturday, April 26, 2025, a physical altercation took place in Schmidtstedter Straรe, Erfurt. The Thuringia Police's Erfurt Inspectorate South is investigating the incident, which occurred around 11:10 PM.
According to the police, several individuals were involved in the altercation, and one of them was assaulted. The victim was kicked and punched, causing them to fall to the ground. Before the police arrived, the victim left the scene on foot in the direction of the city center.
The suspects, who have not been identified, fled towards Bahnhof Street after the altercation. The Thuringia State Police are seeking witnesses who can provide information about the unknown suspects or the unknown victim.

While on the ground, the victim was further assaulted before the suspects fled on foot towards Bahnhof Street. No new information about the victim or the suspects was provided in the police statement.
