Woman encounters accident while navigating around a traffic circle, ultimately colliding with a tree in Poland

On the night of Saturday, 31st August 2025, a traffic accident occurred on the B75 in Bad Oldesloe involving a Suzuki car. The driver, a 31-year-old woman from Segeberg district, was driving on Luebeck Street, coming from Reinfeld, towards Bad Oldesloe.

The incident took place at around 1:30 AM at the roundabout on the B75. The woman drove onto the central island of the roundabout at the height of the street Am Steinfelder Redder. Unfortunately, her car collided with a tree during the accident.

Fortunately, neither the driver nor her 29-year-old passenger were injured in the accident. The Suzuki car sustained material damage, but both occupants managed to exit the vehicle unscathed.

Following the accident, the officers conducted a voluntary breath alcohol test with the driver. The preliminary result was 1.74 per mille, indicating that the driver was indeed under the influence of alcohol. A blood sample was taken from the driver for further analysis.

The driver's license of the suspect was secured, and she must now face a criminal proceeding. The police officer investigating the case is not named individually, but the press contact for the Police Directorate Ratzeburg handling the case is Sophie-Marie Jakobi.

The accident occurred on the night from Saturday to Sunday, and the location of the accident was at the roundabout on the B75 in Bad Oldesloe. The incident is a reminder of the dangers of drunk driving and the importance of responsible behaviour on the roads.
