In the latest fixture of the UEFA Nations League 2026, Latvia faced a challenging opponent in Kosovo. The match, played with high spirits and intense competition, ended in a draw with a final score of 2:2.

The game started on a promising note for Latvia, as they took the lead in the 17th minute. The goal was a result of a cross from the right by Santa Sanija Vuškāne, causing trouble for the Kosovo defence. However, the celebrations were short-lived as Kosovo equalized just three minutes later, putting both teams on an even footing.

Latvia continued to press forward, creating numerous opportunities, but despite plenty of goalmouth action, no additional goals were scored for the rest of the first half. In the 31st minute, Kosovo regained the lead, leaving Latvia needing to mount a comeback.

However, Latvia showed resilience and determination, and in the first half injury time, they equalized once again. Karlīna Miksone was the hero for Latvia, scoring the equalizing goal and securing a draw for the team.

The second half saw both teams creating chances, but neither was able to find the back of the net. The match ended in a draw, with Latvia collecting eight points from four games in the League B group, which also includes Denmark, Finland, Kazakhstan, and Moldova.
