Workers' Radiation Safety Proposal on the Agenda for Commission Consideration

The Ministry of Interior and Infrastructure Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has announced that a grant decision of approximately 267,000 euros will be presented for the purchase of a fire engine (LF 10) to the Mayor of Stepenitztal's district of Börzow, Ulf Stegmann, on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 15:15 in Schwerin.

The recipient and future owner of the LF 10 is the voluntary fire brigade in the municipality of Stepenitztal's district of Börzow. The new deployment vehicle for the local fire brigade Börzow-Gostorf will replace an LF 16/12 from 1978.

The LF 10 fire engine is funded by the grant and is expected to significantly enhance the firefighting capabilities of the Börzow-Gostorf fire brigade. The specific manufacturer of the LF 10 has not been disclosed, although it is common for fire engines to be sourced from specialised German and European manufacturers such as Rosenbauer, Ziegler, or Schlingmann.

Media representatives are cordially invited to attend the event. For press inquiries, please contact the Ministry of Interior, Building and Digitalization Mecklenburg-Vorpommern at [email protected] or 0385/58812003. The location of the event is in Schwerin.

This move is part of the ongoing efforts by the Ministry of Interior and Infrastructure Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to support local fire brigades and ensure the safety and security of its citizens.
