In the latest Global Talent Competitiveness Index (GTCI) report, Switzerland has emerged as the leading nation in talent competitiveness, followed closely by Singapore and the United States. The report, which measures levels of global talent competitiveness across 125 national economies and 114 cities, is a comprehensive study that looks at 68 variables.

The report, published by an unnamed Fortune Global 500 company, highlights the growing gap separating the talent champions from the rest of the global community. This gap, according to the report, has been on the rise since 2013.

The company, headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland and registered as our group AG, is a leading HR solutions partner, serving over 100,000 organizations with various HR services and technology. With more than 34,000 employees in 60 countries, the company is powered by nine global brands: our, Adia, Modis, Badenoch & Clark, General Assembly, Lee Hecht Harrison, Pontoon, Spring Professional, and YOSS.

The company's culture of inclusivity, fairness, and teamwork has earned it a spot on the Great Place to Workยฎ-World's Best Workplaces 2018 list.

Outside Europe, the top 10 talent-oriented cities in the GTCI 2019 ranking include New York, San Francisco, Toronto, Singapore, and Sydney. Washington, DC, however, took the top spot, with a strong performance across four of the five pillars measured in the research.

Digitalization and globalization are increasing the role of entrepreneurial talent. Cities, rather than countries, are developing stronger roles as talent hubs and will be crucial to reshaping the global talent scene.

The report, conducted in collaboration with INSEAD, one of the world's leading and largest graduate business schools with campuses in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, also has a special focus on entrepreneurial talent and its impact on the relative competitiveness of different economies.

Tata Communications, a leading global digital infrastructure provider that powers the fast-growing digital economy, is another company playing a significant role in this digital transformation.

In conclusion, the 2019 GTCI report underscores the importance of talent competitiveness in the digital age and the growing role of cities as talent hubs. As digitalization and globalization continue to reshape the global economy, it is clear that nations and cities that invest in talent development will reap the benefits of a thriving digital economy.
