WSOP Online 2024: Moritz Dietrich Makes History, Negreanu in Spotlight

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online continues to make headlines with record-breaking prize pools and star-studded lineups. Daniel Negreanu is in the spotlight, both at the tables and in the commentary booth, while Moritz Dietrich has made history with his Main Event victory in the online events.

Moritz Dietrich has etched his name in poker history, winning the 2024 WSOP Online Main Event. He took home a staggering $4,021,012, setting new records for the top prize and total prize pool in online poker events. Meanwhile, Daniel Negreanu is attempting to add another bracelet to his collection, streaming his progress on GGPoker from Vancouver.

Negreanu will also join the commentary team for the $10,300 GGMillion$ High Rollers event final table, alongside poker legend Phil Hellmuth. Hellmuth will also be part of the broadcast for the $5K WSOP Online Main Event final table on September 23, which follows the $10K Heads-Up NLH Championship and the $25K GGMillion$ Super High Roller events earlier in the month.

Players have more chances to enter these prestigious events with seven more Day 1 flights for the $5K WSOP Online Main Event and nine for the $10,300 GGMillion$ High Rollers event. Looking ahead, the 2025 WSOP Online Main Event has a $25 million guarantee, aiming to surpass last year's prize pool of $29,193,500 with 6,146 total entries.

With Dietrich's historic win and Negreanu's continued presence, the WSOP Online continues to attract top talent and set new benchmarks. As the 2025 events approach, poker fans eagerly await the final tables, hoping to see more record-breaking performances and star-studded showdowns.
