XPENG accelerates its expansion in Europe with the introduction of its electric vehicles in Spain and Portugal

XPENG Motors, a Chinese AI mobility company, is making a significant move in Europe with a dual-market launch in Spain and Portugal. The company, led by CEO and Chairman He Xiaopeng, is committed to revolutionizing AI-defined mobility across the continent.

As part of its expansion strategy, XPENG Motors has partnered with the Salvador Caetano Group for distribution in both Spain and Portugal. This partnership is a key aspect of XPENG's growth in the region.

In Spain, XPENG Motors has established a commercial and after-sales service network with ten dealerships in major cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, and Malaga. The company has also launched two points of sale in Lisbon and Porto, Portugal, and plans to expand to seven dealerships by year-end and to 15 by the end of 2025.

XPENG Motors is expanding in Southern Europe with a 100% electric lineup. The lineup includes the G6 ultra-smart coupe SUV, G9 flagship intelligent SUV, and P7 sports sedan. These vehicles are characterized by their modern, dynamic design and advanced technology, such as XPENG's SEPA 2.0 architecture and the Tianji XOS 5.2 smart cabin system.

The company's expansion into Spain and Portugal is a significant step in XPENG's overall growth. XPENG's Vice Chairman and President, Brian Gu, has expressed excitement about the company's ongoing efforts to expand its presence in the European region.

JuanMa López, Vice President of Design Center at XPENG, states that design plays a central role in XPENG's product lineup. This is evident in the balanced approach between emotion and rationality in the company's current models and future products like flying cars and robots.

One such future product, the XPENG X2 electric flying car, made its debut in Spain and Portugal. The XPENG X2 reflects the brand's ambition to redefine mobility both on the ground and in the air. All three models in XPENG's lineup have received Euro NCAP five-star ratings, demonstrating their safety and quality.
