Yamaha halts motorcycle manufacturing in Pakistan

In a Facebook post, Yamaha Motor Pakistan expressed its gratitude towards the riders who have made Yamaha a part of their lives. The post also outlined the company's commitments post the closure, including the provision of after-sales service, spare parts, warranty services, and customer support.

Muhammad Sabir Shaikh, an auto sector expert, confirmed this information to Business Recorder. According to Shaikh, Yamaha Motor Pakistan has secured sufficient stock of spare parts to accommodate customer requirements through YMPK-authorized dealers.

The demand for electric vehicles (EVs) is increasing in Pakistan, putting pressure on fuel-based engines. However, there are no available public details about when Yamaha Motor Pakistan will replace its customer service, including spare parts supply and warranty services, with electric vehicles.

Yamaha Motor Pakistan's Facebook post was about their intentions and commitments after the closure of motorcycle manufacturing in Pakistan. The post stated that their trust has always been the voice that said "Dil Nay Kaha Yamaha." In the post, Yamaha Motor Pakistan mentioned that their promise to customers continues.
