Yemeni Prime Minister of the Houthi government reportedly assassinated by Israeli forces

In a fresh escalation of the ongoing conflict, the Israeli military carried out an airstrike on Thursday against the Huthi terrorist regime in Yemen. The target of the attack was in the Sana'a area, where high-ranking military and political officials of the Huthi regime were present.

The Huthi regime, backed by Iran, has been involved in conflicts with Israel since October 2023, when Israel initiated its war against the radical Palestinian group Hamas. This latest airstrike marks a significant blow to the Huthi regime, as their prime minister was among those killed in the attack.

The Huthis have announced the death of Ahmed al-Rahawi, their prime minister, along with several ministers, in the Israeli airstrike. The new interim prime minister of the Huthis has not been publicly named, following the death of their leader.

The Huthi rebels have launched several missile attacks against Israel in retaliation, posing a continuous threat to the Israeli population. However, the Israeli military has been successful in its operations, thanks to the support of its intelligence services and a rapid operational cycle.

The Huthi regime has suffered heavy losses in these conflicts, with several high-ranking officials killed in Israeli attacks. The Huthis have promised to avenge the death of Ahmed al-Rahawi, but the ongoing conflict shows no signs of abating.

The international community has condemned the Israeli strike that killed the Houthi Prime Minister, but no information on the successor has been provided. The Huthi regime continues to be a source of instability in the region, and the conflict between them and Israel remains a significant concern.
