Federal authorities executed four search warrants at the closed-down GÜG on the BAB 11 in Pomellen, resulting in four arrests yesterday by the federal police.

Yesterday, the federal police carried out four search warrants at the former GÜG location on the BAB 11 in Pomellen, as per the GdpD POM announcement.

The Federal Police Inspectorate Pasewalk, a division of the Federal Police Directorate in Bad Bramstedt, has been actively involved in joint operations with the German-Polish Station Pomellen. These collaborative efforts have led to several arrests and routine checks near Pasewalk, Germany.

The Federal Police Directorate in Bad Bramstedt is a federal authority responsible for tasks in Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, and the North and Baltic Seas. It employs approximately 2,600 staff members and carries out a wide range of tasks, including protecting the federal territory at the border, railway police duties, and maritime, shipping, and environmental police duties in the North and Baltic Seas.

On several occasions, individuals driving cars with Polish registration were stopped for routine checks. At 13:40, a 28-year-old Polish individual was found to have a warrant for his arrest issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office in Gießen for leaving the scene of an accident without permission. He paid a fine of €2,720 to avoid 17 days in jail.

A 21-year-old Polish citizen was arrested shortly after midnight for endangering traffic. The Public Prosecutor's Office in Koblenz had issued a warrant for his arrest. He had to pay a fine of €1,560, a remaining fine of €71.22, and costs of €510.83 to avoid a 13-day jail sentence.

At 17:20, a 35-year-old Bulgarian was stopped, and a search revealed a warrant for his arrest issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office in Saarbrücken for fraud. Unable to pay the fine of €3,225 and costs of €282.95, he was taken to Neustrelitz Prison to serve a 36-day sentence.

The fines and costs associated with the arrests ranged from €20 to €2,720, with the jail sentences ranging from 13 to 36 days. The arrests and fines were carried out by the Federal Police Inspectorate Pasewalk.
