Young Poles employ electric shock gadgets during quarrels
In Hagen-City Center, on August 31, 2025, a disturbance took place at the ZOB (Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof, or Central Bus Station) that required the intervention of the local police force.
According to information transmitted by Polizei Hagen, the incident occurred around 2:30 PM. Two 17-year-olds were found on a bus and escorted off by the police. The circumstances leading up to their removal are not fully clear, but it is known that a 38-year-old woman reported witnessing an argument between the two teenagers and a couple.
During the altercation, a 50-year-old woman was injured on her arm. The situation escalated further when one of the teens allegedly tried to provoke the situation so his friend could use an electroshock weapon. The device was found behind the seats in the last row of the bus, and it was confiscated by the police.
The teen who used the electroshock weapon was charged with dangerous bodily harm and violating the weapons act. The police have not released further details about the charges against the other teenager involved in the incident.
