Sluggish day for Canadian poker players, but a few managed to snag a win. Zachary Zaret sits atop Event #21: $1,500 PLO Hi-Lo, leading the pack with 7,060,000, that's roughly 118 big blinds. Linyang Song and Duff Charette are also still in the game for Event #20: $1,500 Shootout, with 2,175,000 and 2,125,000 respectively. Patrick Stacey is hanging tough in Event #23: $1,500 Badugi, sitting in 12th place with 224,000. Allen Shen had the best day, cashing in the biggest with a 10th place finish in Event #17: $2,000 NLH, netting $30,161.

Pablo Mariz and Weston Pring had a deep run in the $1,500 Shootout, pocketing $5,360 each.

Allen Shen was the big winner of the day, scooping up $30,161 in the $2,000 NLH tournament. He started Day 3 with the 7th largest chip stack and managed to take it to the unofficial final table. The event had a massive 1,692 entries.

Juan Lamprea, another chip leader from the previous day, was unable to keep his momentum going and finished in 12th place for $12,719. Pablo Mariz and Weston Pring also had deep runs in the $1,500 Shootout, placing 16th and 18th respectively, taking home $5,360 each.

Zachary Zaret stole the show in the $1,500 PLO Hi-Lo, skyrocketing from 6 big blinds to the chip lead. The tournament drew in 1,176 total entries to create a total prize pool of $1,561,140. Duff Charette didn't waste any time getting into the action. He managed to bag a hefty stack in the $1,500 Shootout after a thrilling hand. During the hand, Christian Roberts moved all in from the big blind. Before Charette made any decision, the dealer was readying the flop.
